About Pestil Books:
Founded by Naz Beşcan and Aslı Toraman in 2021, Pestil Books celebrates the imperfections, textures and histories of second-hand books. While forming a selection of collectors’ items and limited editions with a curatorial touch, which also works as a digital archive of publications from the 1960s to our day, Pestil Books moves forward with the idea of ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ and hope to bring out the value in the used items with a towards sustainable libraries.
