Somatic Experiencing | 60 Minutes

Somatic Experiencing (SE™) is a body-oriented therapeutic model applied for healing trauma and other stress disorders. It is based on a multidisciplinary intersection of physiology, psychology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices and has been clinically applied for more than four decades. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine.

The SE approach releases traumatic shock and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. The Somatic Experiencing approach facilitates the completion of self-protective motor responses and the release of the survival energy bound in the body, thus addressing the root cause of trauma symptoms. This is approached by gently guiding clients to develop increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions.

Sound Healing Therapy | 60 Minutes

Rida, a graduate of British Academy of Sound Therapy as a Sound Healing Therapist uses BAST method in her sessions. This method combines carefully considered therapeutic sound techniques which have been shown to affect physiology, neurology and psychology with a form of reflective enquiry (a kind of questioning). The therapeutic sound and sound therapy techniques are delivered using tonal and rhythmic instruments and voice. Combining more than 40 instruments in a specific way to influence brainwave frequencies, enables a person to enter an altered state of consciousness (ASC) similar to very deep relaxation or meditation. In this state many different therapeutic process occur and the session ends with a reflective enquiry.

Sound Meditation | 60 Minutes

The placement of Sound Healing and Meditation instruments provides the space to turn into a meditative sound sphere. The 3-dimensional sound sphere is created by using gongs, himalayan bowls, flutes, crystal bowls, ocean drum, aqua drum, bells, drums and other sound healing and meditation instruments. Sound therapy instruments use a principle called 'entrainment' to bring brain waves into a meditative field.
